Where to shoot
The original clips are in bare concrete cafes with small round steel tables. If you film in a real cafe, ask the staff first and pick a quiet time. At home, a plain wall, a low bench and a small round side table get you close. Only sit on furniture that can take your weight.

Acting tips
The realization is the whole joke, so take it slow: a full second looking at their cup, another looking down. Don't laugh or look at the camera. Your friend should act like this happens every day. Shoot three or four takes and keep the one with the best freeze.
