What the First Time in a Fancy Cafe trend is
In a minimalist concrete cafe, someone sits on top of a small round steel table as if it were a stool, sipping a coffee. Another customer walks in, sits on the low bench and puts their cup on the other little table. The first person looks over, looks down, and realizes they've been sitting on a table. They climb down and sit on the bench like nothing happened.
The trend took off on TikTok on November 1, 2026, with popular versions posted by @stevenwommack and @leehoustonx under the caption "POV: Your first time in a fancy cafe". Credit for the original idea goes to those creators; this site only makes AI versions from your photos.
The whole process at a glance
Pick who goes in, add a clear photo (two photos if you want both people swapped), sign in with Google, pay once and wait about 5 minutes. You get a 15-second, 720p vertical MP4 with an original backing track, plus a silent copy for the TikTok sound. One video is $8.88, 3 are $19.88 and 7 are $39.88.
Step 1: Pick who goes in your photo
Open the fancy cafe video maker and choose one of four options. Me on the table puts you on the little table (the classic). Me walking in makes you the customer who walks in and uses it the right way. Both of us swaps in two people, one photo each. My pet on the table puts your cat or dog on the table. Whoever you don't swap in is an AI-generated stranger, not a real person.
Step 2: Choose a photo that works
Use a clear photo with one person or pet, face turned to the camera and well lit. A photo down to the knees works best, because your outfit carries over into the video. Avoid sunglasses, hands over the face, group photos and heavy filters. For Both of us, add two separate photos, not one group shot.
Step 3: Sign in and pay once
Sign in with Google and choose a pack on the pricing page: 1 video for $8.88, 3 for $19.88 or 7 for $39.88. All four options cost the same, one credit per video. It's a one-time payment, not a subscription.
Step 4: Download and post
About 5 minutes later the video is in My videos. You can close the page while it's made. Download the version with music, or the silent copy if you want to add the trend's sound in TikTok: upload it, tap Add sound and search for the trend.
Common problems and fixes
The face doesn't look like me: use a sharper, front-facing photo with even light and no sunglasses. If it still doesn't look like you, email us and we refund that video.
The wrong person ended up on the table: check the option you picked. On the table is the right side of the scene, walking in is the left side. For Both of us, the photo in On the table goes on the table.
My outfit changed: the video uses the clothes in your photo. A photo that shows only your face leaves the rest to the AI, so a photo down to the knees keeps your outfit.
